Ivory Intentions - Sleep Well |
] |
I done pooped mahsel'hf.
Eric Streichert is a very visually appealing individual who is also my source for all creative ideas I have ever presented. I let him gizz on my pillow once. It was awesome. I slept very soundly that night knowing that I was near his own personal protein shake product. It smelled of citrus and gardenias. Later I would try gizzing on his pillow, and he slapped me twice:once in the face, and once on my bottom. I knew what I had done was wrong, and then proceeded to cry on his shoulder for three and a half hours. He then lifted my head and directed my attention towards the beautiful vegtable garden he had made for me. I resumed crying, this time was different though...they were tears of inexplicable joy and happiness. I ate of the garden for many months before realizing that it all was a trick, for the vegetables were actually plastic and coated in wax. I had always wondered why my poop melted the way it did before exiting my body...anyways, I caught on and confronted him with this evil trick he had played upon me and he had this to say:"Don't be such a puthy." He was right again. I asked for forgiveness for betraying his trust, and insulting his royalty, and he accepted. He then offered me some shiny fruit, and i felt loved again.
Finis.

Ok, so I came up with this idea. Actually, I kind of got it from Brian Wood, but whatever. Anyways, I created a livejournal for mine and Salazar's comic(s) and such like that. We'll post updates about the comic and some sketches and crap like that. Everyone should add us:
twotonecomics
I'm gonna update the comic stuff on both eastcoastska and twotonecomics for a while until we get some adds.
Thanks

So Kevin Smith is FINALLY putting out part 4, 5, and 6 of Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do comic that he wrote. This is the comic that got me back into comics and that made me fall in love with Felicia Hardy a.k.a. The Black Cat. I've been waiting... 3 years for him to finish the series!
Oh, and one more thing...
CLERKS 2?!?!?!?! WHAAAAAAAAAT????????? Since when has this been going on?! I just decided visit viewaskew.com today and I found all this stuff out! And he's thinking about a sequal to DOGMA! What is this madness? Where have I been?!

If you read this, even if we do not speak often, comment with one memory of me. It can be anything you want, good or bad. Just as long as it happened. Then post this on your livejournal to see what other people remember about you
I'll post about the ska show later.

Anyways,
School's been going really good. Last night I went dancing because
Brittany and Kaleen wanted me to... it was.. interesting. Haha white
guy + dancing = awkward.
Tonight me and May are trying to get everyone together to do something 'cause we don't feel sitting in our dorms all day.
In my social problems book they were discussing the prison terms "queen, punk, and wolf" in detail. Creepy.
Well, I'm supposed to meet some people in the d-hall for dinner, so I'll finish this up later.

Catch 22 |
] |
So here I sit jamming out to Catch 22 in my dorm room.
There was a poetry reading at Backsteets on monday night. The crew all hung out there because Against Me was sold out. Anus face. On the plus side, though, there was this lady singer/songwriter and she was awesome. Nice guitar + poetry + beat boxing = rad.
Looks like me and Mr. Striker+t got jobs at the ghost tour. This is such a sweet gig becuase I only work for two hours a night with breaks inbetween for $45 per tour plus tips. The only thing I have to do is pass my tour guide test so I can be an official St. Augustine tour guide. But that won't be too hard. I think it took Tristan like three tries or something like that.

The slience of studying |
] |
I just finished reading my first assignment straight through with only a break to smoke a cigarrette with my roomate on the balcony just outside of our room.
Oh by the way, I'm in college.
Right now I feel as if I never want to stop going to school. I know this might be a wee bit premature, but I'm just having way too much freakin' fun, and I haven't even been here a week.
Fun consists of hanging out with people I've just met, relaxing at a hookah bar, and having in-depth, intellectual conversations at Backstreets with people I barely know. Couches comforting, coffee strong. The smoke from cigarettes clouding my vision, getting into my eyes. I love it here.
Apparently Flalger College wants me to be a Theatre major. Unforunate for them that time in my life is (most-likely) past. As of tomorrow I will officially be a Philosophy/Religion major. No doubt will my beliefs and ethics be questioned, but I'm actually looking foreward to it. I'm taking my first religion course: Religoins of the World. I've been there for an hour and fifteen minutes and already am I facsinated.
My other favorite class is Contemporary Social Problems. The first chapter in the book is about the heated debate of abortion. English isn't so bad either. It's English Composition so I'm learning how to write better and it's amazing. This will be important considering my minor is Creative Writing. Speaking of which, I need to get my play published.
The other blocks of time that take up the rest of my week are Liberal Arts Math and Freshman Seminar (a b.s. class that teaches me how to balence my checkbook and get along with my roomate).
Although I can't get enough of this place, I still miss everyone at home. I'll be home this weekend if anyone wants to drop by. I'll also get to see Liza, which makes me very happy. Eric and I actually came home for a few hours on Tuesday, and I got to see Liza then, and it was spectacular.
Class on Monday, despite the holiday. This means I'll be leaving on Sunday.
See you all then.

So yesterday I planned on getting up at 10am and leaving town with a few friends at noon to St. Augustine so I can find a job up there before school starts. Well, turns out I woke up at 1pm and no one else was able to go. So I headed out to St. Augustine by myself around 2:20. Got there around 3:20 (took about an hour) and parked at this lot next to Flagler College. This black dude was taking money for the parking lot:
Him: You need to use the ATM? Me: No, I need to park. Him: Oh, ok. Six dollars. Me: Is that all day? Him: Yeah, it's all day. Me: Thanks, man. Him: I ain't cho baby! Me: ...I said 'man'... Him: Oh, ok.
Gotta love miscommunication. So the first thing I do is check out Lewis House which is my dorm. Couldn't really go in and look around though. Then I head over to Backstreets 'cause I freakin' love that place. I ask the girl behind the counter if they were hiring and she said they hadn't hired anyone for 2 years. So that's a no. So I decided to get a drink and relax there. After sitting on one of the couches for a little while I decided I wanted to be social, so I go sit at the bar next to this one chick who's drawing on a pad of paper. I asked her what she was drawing and she said it was a flier for some underground art show in town that's coming up. Turns out she had just graduated Flagler with an Art degree. After she left I started talking to the girl behind the counter about town and whatever else.
So I leave there and head over to the Casa Monica Hotel and try to get a job. Turns out they don't hire on the weekends. So as I walk out of the hotel, I run into none other than Tristan and Matt Love. So we go hang out at Tristan's house and watch some hilarious online video of this guy playing World of Warcraft. I think it's only funny to us who play online RPG's.
After that, we went to the Hilton and got yelled at by some bald guy for sitting in the wrong place. But I think I'm gonna get a job being a bellhop there, which would be awesome.
I decided to head out around 8 so I could pick Liza up from work. So I do, and I take her to Taco bell for some late dinner, then to the beach to watch to moon shine over the ocean. I gotta admit, it was beautiful.
One more week then I'll be a college boy. Can't wait.
Liza, you make me happier than anyone else ever has.
...and you're the cutest girl I've ever seen with cream cheese on your face.

Bob Dylan - It Ain't Me Babe |

So Friday morning at work this old man comes up and says to me "Now you've got a SHNOZ! Like one of those Greek guys." Of course indicating that I had a ginormous nose. Later that day, I was asked to stay and close the store because a girl called off because of her mom being in an accident or something like that. 12 1/2 hours with no break. I later found out that the girl's excuse for not coming in was bogus. Luckily I closed with Liza.
Today after church, Liza and I went to hang out with my dad at his friend's house. That was nice, then we went to her aunt and uncle's house to spend time with her family. Also good.
Now I'm just sitting here relaxing, waiting for Adult Swim to come on. It's Sunday night, so the good line-up will be on.
I leave for college in two weeks. Whoop.
Honestly, I'm really no good at writing interesting posts. Oh well.

I can't seem to shake this head cold. I hate it. Go away. Seriously, I don't like you.
Well, now that I've put those germs in their place, I will proceed with this post.
Opened the store today and worked by myself all day. Thats ok though because it's been crazy slow all week. Melissa Grooms came and saw me today. Haven't seen her in a while. Actually, a bunch of crazy things happend today at work, but I'm too tired to recall them all.
I'm filthy. I think I'm going to take a shower then head over to Liza's house.
Call me if anyone wants to hang out tonight.
